Lord’s Cricket Ground in St John’s Wood, London is the home of cricket in the UK. Not only are the beautiful cricket grounds visited by hundreds of thousands of spectators from all over the world each year, but it also has a range of spaces suited for sports, conferences and other events.
Lord's are an inaugural member of BASIS, the British Association for Sustainable Sport, meaning sustainability is key throughout their venue; having several initiatives in place throughout the grounds in order to reduce their contribution to climate change.
Objectives
Lord’s Cricket Ground were looking for a water solution for match day visitors, spectators and staff. We also wanted to provide a solution that would be suitable for all the events that are held at the grounds.
WHAT THEY NEEDED:
Reduce single-use plastic by providing refill points- Hygienic and Covid-safe water
- Accessible drinking water facilities for all users
Our Drinking Water Solution
Focusing on sustainability, COVID-19 protection, and increased accessibility for spectators from across the world.
After an initial consultation, we determined that 25 Oasis PWSMSBF Bottle Filling Stations would be the best solution for the specification.
We then conducted an engineering survey to establish the best locations for the hydration stations, ensuring accessibility for wheelchair users, before installing and providing ongoing support.

Conclusion
With our 25 Wall Mounted Bottle Filling Stations located throughout the grounds, Lord's Cricket Ground is now able to provide safe, clean water to it’s staff and guests whilst reducing their environmental impact by helping stop single-use plastic waste within the grounds.
